A review of Pavarotti Trattoria by Irene Cockburn written on Tuesday 18th of December 2007
Who knew that a Russian chef could cook great italian food? Previous reviews no longer matter as the restaurant has been taken over and the chef and his wife, together with their charming waiter, provide a warm, friendly welcome and great service. I dined on my birthday, 29th August 2007, and it really was a fine end to a lovely day.
The food is beautiful, with the chef being from Russia but having trained with Italian chefs. There is plenty of choice and it is extremely tasty. Nothing is too much trouble and it is also very reasonably priced.
I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys warm, friendly hospitality, good food and fine wine!
