A review of Balmore Garden Centre by Liz written on Saturday 26th of January 2008
I discovered the new tearoom at Balmore Garden Centre last week, and it will join my list of "good eating places". The menu is varied, and the Scotch broth that cold wet day was just what I needed - filling and warming. With warm apple pie and ice cream (two scoops) plus tea, the cost was just over £5. The conservatory-type tearoom extension has lovely views across the countryside, the food is very good, with generous helpings and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. I'll be back..
