A review of The Merchant Pride by MED customer written on Monday 31st of March 2008
I've been reading the comments about MED CAFE BAR and lmao at them. What is the Gay scene in Glasgow coming to. There is not many Gay bar but yous feel the need to slag them off wither its MED, Merchant, Del's etc. Come on your meant to support the Gay community not slag it off. But forgot that's what a lot of gay people do (not all just a select few). The bitchiness in the gay scene is a joke. As for MED the food is great never cold or small portions. I eat in there a lot of the time. The regulars must love the food too as they always come back. And always new faces in each time i go in. The Staff are friendly and not cheeky to there customers. As for the Gobby one!! you probably deserved it? As for BAD management i believe this to have been resolved.... she left!! The LGBT Centre in Glasgow will live on ... Viva la centre.... I think these comments are just simply ill informed and sad!! Get a grip!! The LGBT Centre and MED CAFE BAR will be around for a long time and not as people think gone before the year is out. MED is here to stay!!!! So get use to it!!!!! As for the young people being in the centre after all it is a community place and that includes the young people. They go to LGBT Youth which is ran on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. When this is not on the young people like every bar they leave at 8pm. The LGBT Centre is for everyone wither Young, Old, Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Transgender or even Straight!!!!! I look forward to my next night out in MED for great food and entertainment and for the banter with the bar staff!!!!.
