I AM A SECRET (CLEANER-)RECYCLER or I HAVE TO RECYCLE PAPER DISCREETLY AND IN SECRET
There is no recycling in the area of Glasgow, where I live. However, as a completely green person, I collect waste paper in my home and then once a week bring it to my workplace. Being a morning cleaner, I discreetly put it in the recycling bin and camouflage my personal papers with the office ones.
I also work as an evening cleaner in another office. This office is sort of similar to my area – no recycling. However, the building, where they rent the premises, has an excellent recycling scheme which allows to recycle any paper. So, I got on my own some clear recycling bags from security and every evening secretly sort rubbish from the bins. For this reason I come to the office late when nobody is in. After checking all the bins I put the recycling bag in my cupboard and carefully cover/hide it with other bag and my uniform. When it's full I put it outside.
/I have the photoes of my secret stuff, so if you give me your e-mail, I'll send you the same letter comprising images/
I have a great profitable idea. Nevertheless, because of love to our planet I'm ready to sell it for free. The idea is to introduce a new occupation, namely 'a cleaner-recycler'. It means paying a little more to cleaners for sorting rubbish bins since office staff is often forgetful about this. In fact it's feasible to recycle in such a way not only paper, but also aluminium, other metal, different plastics (sorting plastic needs short training) and glass.
Maybe, any institution needs a person who is passionate about such things? I feel like doing a bit more then just saving daily a few kilos of paper in secret. Moreover, as a cleaner and passer-by I see a huge potential for such work in Glasgow. So, employ me!
There are some visual material underpinning my idea.
