A review of Allied International Credit by ANON written on Thursday 15th of May 2008
This is my advice to you all out there struggling - as I have been a debt councelor for 20 years. Never offer more than you can afford. Any unsecured debts e.g overdrafts, credit cards etc are non-priority, unlike your mortgage/council tax where these are priority. All courts will also see it this way. A court will except token payments of just £1/month providing you can demonstrate your income/outgoings are TIGHT. Offer £1 to these scumbags and if they refuse (which they will) advise them to take you to court (which they wont). Don't get engaged into conversation either, as they will intimidate you!
Also, they are known for not passing on offers that people make to their clients they act for, as they are commission/target based, so ask for a copy of your notes, which you are legaly entitled to under 'the freedom of information' act. Their notes cannot be tampered with their end as their system should not allow this. The minimum a UK court will accept is £1, so go for that. If they call, then hang up at all costs!.
