A review of The Croft Bar by Senga Johnson written on Friday 9th of February 2007
The Croft is a jewel in the space between Castlemilk and King's park in Glasgow's South East area. It has a feel of somewhere better served in an affluent area, akin to Newton Mearns or Bearsden, such is the feeling of greatness when you enter their doors. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and honest, patricularly the bar staff. My personal favourite is Danny, a handsome young chap who I always make a point in chatting to whenever I'm in. Food in the Croft is of the highest standard and always served to an exacting degree of accuracy when served by Billy et al in the kitchen. All in all, the Croft has everything anyone with a taste for the good life needs to enjoy themselves. Great food, great drink and all at a price to suit even the cheapest of budgets (I recommend the 2 for 1). Give it a try, you might just like it!.
