A review of Stockwell Bazaar by Elaine Higgins written on Thursday 22nd of February 2007
If you miss the 'old-fashioned'quality store where nothing is too much trouble to staff and knowledge of products accompanies friendly service and courteousness this is the place for you to shop. There is a wealth of items in a vast range of prices from lovely pieces of china to suit anyone's pocket up to a great range of Kosta Boda, Mats Jonasson, Lladro (a favourite of the very knowledgeable owner), Rosenthal, Lalique and so on. Not limited to china, porcelain & china however there are always other treasures to be found. Add to this a very pleasant restaurant and great sales and what more could you ask for. Truly a bazaar and beats the larger department stores hands down in my opinion. Don't come to Glasgow and not pay a visit to this family owned store right in the heart of Glasgow City centre.
