A review of OKO Express by Marri written on Saturday 27th of September 2008
OKO express is the hottest sushi bar in town, located very conveniently on Queen Street and open very late into the night to catch the clubbers on their way home, it's a bustling popular restraunt well worth a try.
It's interior decor is just perfect with it's natural brick wall, large mirrors, red lanterns and natural wooden tables and benches. The stmosphere is cosy and inviting for those who want to sit in. It also provides outside seating areas, perfect for the smokers and those sunny days.
The sushi is freshly prepared in clear view by excellent chef's, giving you the best freshly prepared sushi around, the guys in the back aren't bad either, delivering tasty hot meal time after time. I highly reccomend the Teriyaki.
The staff for the most part are exceptionally friendly, helpful and welcoming, adding greatly to the lovely atmosphere that has cultured so many loyal customers.
The prices are another thing to celebrate, with good value for money making what is normally an expensive world food to enjoy into a very accessible piece of culture. Excellent deals on the board are well worth checking out.
If you haven't tried japanese cuisine before, here is the place to go, and if you are a fan but frequent other japanese restraunts in the city centre, definitely give this one a go. You may find your allegiences changing!
10 out of 10.
