A review of China Buffet King by Ayrshire Lass written on Sunday 28th of September 2008
Don't know what the other reveiwer was looking at but their is a wide selection of starters including springs rolls, spare ribs, sesame toast, two types of soup, as well as a wide selection of sald items including pate and cold meat as well as samosas and other non chinese items.
Main courses also have a good selection hard to say how many but at least eight including sweet and sour both cantonese and in chicken balls with seperate sauce, lemon chicken, satay chicken pork dishes, seafood, two types of noodles plus all the usual basics like rice, chips, prawn crackers etc. We haven't even mentioned the mini pizzas and sausage rolls for the less adventurous.
Now deserts well their is ice cream you dispense yourself with two flavours of jellies. Various cakes and a selection of fresh fruit if you want to pretend you are being healthy. You can add pouring cream, squirty cream, chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and then if you still have room finish with pancakes and syrup or a nice slice of strudel.
Ok its not all Chinese but it is all good, hot and fresh, service is super efficent and prices fantastic unless you are a super model and plan to eat lettuce and frech melon only..
