A review of C Troop Caledonian Army Cadets by Alex Gibson written on Saturday 3rd of January 2009
I was proud to be a member of the Caledonian Co. of the Royal Artillery Army Cadet Force based initially at West Princes Street,Glasgow during the Late fifties as a cadet and again during the Sixties as an SI and later as an AUO, unfortunately due to family commitments I had to resign before my commission process was complete. Our C.O. at that time was Major John Ramsey M.B.E.As far as I remember we eventually
had 3 batteries, A Battery at W. Princes St, B battery at Berkely St,and C Battery at Drumchapel,We had a good run of competitions winning the Lucas Tooth and Sports trophies regularly.I would like to hear from the caley or anyone who remembers me from those days,
Best Wishes.........(A.U.O) Alex Gibson .
