A review of Allied International Credit by Jeffrey Goines written on Sunday 25th of January 2009
I think that the most important thing to remember when we discuss the so called Glasgow based debt collection agency entitled Allied International Credit, is that this debt collection agency is owned exclusively by its head office in Canada.
In the UK today, our economic situation is decreasing and unfortunately we stand on the brink of an economic downturn worse than that of the winter of discontent and the government of James Callaghan.
In these drastic days, we should be looking to strengthen and sustain our economy wherever possible. Should we really allow our hard earned money to go abroad to Canada?
Remember that as a debt collection agency that accrues commission from every single delinquent account cured, a certain high percentage will be shipped off to Canada to feed its fat cat board of directors at AIC’s global HQ.
The solution?
I can’t speak for anyone reading this but if it were I that was in this most unfortunate of positions… I would be waiting until the debt passed on to a UK based agency and return the deficit back into our ailing economy. I would not be concerned about additional charges or interest and remember when a debt is passed on it, it is deemed as more of a risk and a better settlement rate would normally ensue.
There's no right, there's no wrong, there's only popular opinion.
