A review of The Filling Station by Anon written on Wednesday 28th of January 2009
Visited here in November with mum for a Birthday treat for her. Food was tasty, took a while to be noticed and served but ok afetr that. What actually spoiled it was the fact that the waitress kept coming over every five minutes to ask if we wanted the bill. I explained we hadn't yet ordered a dessert and also we were waiting on someone else to arrive. Lo and behold the waitress appeared again 5 minutes later saying that she waould be finishing in 5 minutes and would like to sort out my bill for me. Again I tried to explain situation to her and politely told her I would ask and pay for bill when Myself and my Company were ready to. Someone mentioned in one you reviews about the iutside doors banging this is a major problem but when addressing staff they took no notice of this. I would eat there again as I said food is tasty with a good menu. Not all the staff are ignorant and annoying but unfortunately the staff that are, don't do the place any favours..
