R L Allan bibles are of out standing quality, and the KJV 'Long Primer' is no exception. Allan's bibles can certainly give top of the range Cambridge bibles a good bottom spanking, in my opinion.

The binding used on the 'Long Primer' is 'Full Yap', affording protection to the gilt over red, art edged pages. It is also made of extremely supple Highland Goatskin which feels fluid and organic in the hand. Trust me when I say, 'Holding this bible is practically a sinful experience!'.

The text is from Oxford and gives a truly traditional look to a truly traditional version of the bible.

This bible oozes supreme quality, and you really can't go far wrong if you want a life long investment. .
