A review of Capri Skies by Bridey written on Monday 1st of June 2009
I'm not a Capri Skies bride but I've just been so horrified by your situation that I've been trying to help.
I have started a thread on the Moneysaving Expert forums (consumer rights) to try to get some detailed advice/answers.
One thing, re: refunds is that if you paid your dress deposit on a credit card, EVEN IF YOU PAID THE BULK OR BALANCE IN CASH, you are entitled to claim a refund from your credit card company for THE FULL VALUE OF THE DRESS.
Even if your dress was £1000 and you paid £5 on your credit card, you can claim your £1000 back from the company.
Also, if you paid for your dress using a VISA DEBIT card, you can use the Visa Chargeback facility to claim a refund from your bank. Don't be deterred if your bank says no, have a look here:

I'm not a legal expert but I'm studying law, I've asked for help as Scottish law can be different from English but I'm waiting to hear from someone versed in Scottish law to try to help, if I can help I will so post a FAO with questions and I'll see what I can do!.
