A review of The Three Judges by Sachman written on Monday 15th of June 2009
ZERO out of 20 for hospitality! My compadre & I attempted to partake of a libation on sat 13th jun in The Three Judges. We walked in (note, walked) & were promptly insulted by a bullet headed member of the bar staff.
"You're not getting served, I saw the way you staggered in. You've obviously been somewhere else."
We did not stagger in, yes we'd had a few drinks but were by no means drunk & most certainly not staggering. This barchap only turned to face us as we approached the bar, he had been facing the optics busying himself at the counter.
We appear to have been refused only because we weren't regulars. It was in fact our first venture into The Three Judges. This would appear to be borne out by the fact that we then proceeded to be served several rounds in the very welcoming Lismore (1st time), thereby continuing our evening of restrained drinking & quiet chat. Further staff training is obviously needed. Interpersonal skills especially.
No friendly, welcome at The Three Judges.
