A review of Metro Newspaper by SHAHID BUTT written on Thursday 23rd of July 2009
I am in catering (indian cusine) trade since 20 years and been the Chef and Head Chef for very famous indian restaurants in scotland. Three monts ago a small new indian restaurant open in the West End of Glasgow in place of a pub and become the talk of the town amazingly print media is so curious about new business and four reviews been published in the different newspapers and another bad review is written from METRO the gentleman who write the review tell the miserable storey when he go for a meal ther and he realised that all the curries have the same taste he might dont have the idea that indian food have a lot of variet i.e spinach, lentils, etc and have the different method to cook and they have the different taste. The menu is my creation and few of my signature dishes, Ginger Lime Chicken, Lamb Mint Youghurt, Kashmiri Hareesa are my original dishes which is not the copy of anyother chef in UK. The way he writes seems to the reader that he is the expert and the way he use the words CURRY FAIL TO PROVE! on the other hand Curry Leaf at Byres Road is getting busier and I have got the very good feedback from my customers like BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER but you food review writer find all the same curry which is lot of rubbish. My ability to make good Indian food is been challenged and then i decided to write few lines i hope these lines would get place in metro and get the other side of story or you can say others point of view for your readers. I would like to speak to you review writer he is requested to call me and I will invite him again to prove that his imagination of writing food review is not competent engou so before to write something please make sure that you are expert enough to write that. Please call 07861363535. thanks. billy butt.
