A review of The Merchant Pride by Anon written on Sunday 26th of July 2009
Right here goes...I have never met a gay bar owner without a personality...until I met John in the merchant pride...at the first opportunity you can catch him in the court bar having a drink...even he thinks his pub is ****...thank god for sandra and lorry (get well lorry)..but what's with the dirty glasses and bar flies?...clean the gantry guys!!.. and where's the air con...it's stifling...and what's with the straights on a sunday...it is a gay bar...make up your mind...the entertainment...bring back chris miller a.k.a. colin...congrats to him and hamish by the way. To sum up this pub.. it's like a cartoon version of Austins...one of the best gay bars in glasgow...Robert Austin if your out there..open up the old Austins in hope street and you colin and john can show them how it's done... I know your kept busy in your delli bar...but for the sake of camp and good taste come back to us...don't leave us with this nonsense...show us the way......
