A review of Ashoka-Curry Karaoke by Glasgow gal written on Saturday 8th of August 2009
Absolutely awful.
Food was absolutely terrible - nothing like the quality of the food served atthe Ashoka South Side. Nan bread was like chewing gum in the middle, barely cooked, rcie was stuck together and the curry's were all really just sauce.
Staff were very unfriendly, rude and unhelpful. Service was appalling. They slammed the food down on the table and when you ask for more drinks they acted like it was hassle for them.
They had a plump Turkish belly dancer in the restaurant which seemed out of place - infact most of the people in the restaurant looked a bit puzzled.
Restaurant appears dirty and in a bad state.
If you are looking for good food and a good night out - AVOID this place!!!
