"Policy makes no sense"

I called to book a cab from the hospital to the train station. The operator stated they could not take bookings from the hospital they needed to be from a home address. I then gave her my home address thinking I could walk from the hospital (two minutes) away to my home address and met the cab there.

She stated she could not do this as I had not given my home address first and asked why I had suddenly given this other address. When I explained she stated this was against policy.

I will not be using them again.
