A review of Victoria Park Kindergarten by Mrs C Dickson written on Wednesday 18th of April 2007
My child attends the above Kindergarten and has been for the last 3 years. Despite being in an old fashioned building, when you get inside it is so bright and airy with a really modern interior. Lots of bright colours, Ikea furniture, lots of light coming in through big windows, great play equipment and toys.
They have two baby rooms. When my daughter first started going she was under one year old and was with 3 other babies and two staff. The room was cosy and the babies went out to the park most days. Later she went to the toddler room with sandpit, toys for that age group and 3 absolutely lovely staff. Only a small number of children were in this room too.
There are two big playrooms filled with plenty of stories, games, toys to play with and the staff are always really cheerful. Its been the same staff since we started going which helps.
The nursery have a mini bus and take the children out to farms, parks, museums etc. Only if you want them to go.
They have a garden aswell with bikes, scooters, see-saws, balls, chutes and kids are out nearly every day.
The lunches are made by a cook and food seems very good. Breakfast and snacks are included too.
The staff are really fantastic - always telling you whats been going on that day and thinking up new ideas for things to do with the children.
The nursery is amazing. I would highly recomment it..
