A review of Carbeth Inn by Carbeth Faithful written on Saturday 5th of December 2009
I think, having been a member of staff at the Carbeth Inn for a wee while now, that certain complaints are ridiculous. You must be deluded to expect perfection in an extremely old building. Of course the building has problems with dampness etc, as do all old buildings. Without our valued "drunks" the business would be much less of a joy to be a part of and being the sober one behind the bar when these customers have had one too many, I have yet to encounter a bad experience with any regular punter. They are never offensive, and always a pleasure to spend time with. The carbeth remains a great pub. .
