Went to the salon for the first time today! Not in the best of moods after trudging through the freezing ice and snow all day.

Arrived really early for a spa day as i had been given a gift voucher for xmas but really couldn't be bothered getting undressed as i had been freezing all day.

The woman at the desk (Susan i think)was really nice and got me a coffee and a biscuit and chatted to me for a while and let me sit in the warmth of the salon as the reception in the front area of the club was quite chilly.

My fingers and my mood started chilling out.

I was booked in for a treat package which means i could have a back massage or a facial. I really couldnt decide and Susan said I could have them both for an upgrade price. I think it was £13 she charged me.

OMG the therapist gave me the best massage ever and the facial was soooo relaxing. Cant remember her name....it started with a T I think. Tara maybe! She gave me a little envelope with creams and things for my face to try at home too.

As I was leaving Susan gave me a voucher to use the pool and gym and sauna on another day so I wouldnt lose out, very thoughtful.

I asked for the managers name of the club so I could let them know I had a really nice time (after all I am really quick to complain if something wrong occurs so I thought I would let them know how good they were)anyway they are run seperate to the hotel and Susan is the manager of the salon, but she said it is always nice for the therapists to get positive feedback and she would pass it on.

So my review for Distinction and staff is 10 out of 10.
