A review of R L Allan & Son by Howard Markese written on Thursday 26th of April 2007
I derive pleasure from a well made product, much more a product as vital as the Bible. To say that Allan Bibles are well made is a gross understatement! Allan's Bibles are extremely well made, with careful attention to details. If their bibles survive 100 years into the future (which they will), and finds itself aboard a Space Craft very much like the fictional T.V Series Battle Star Galactica , and the Commander raises an Allan Bible in his hands and says to his troops who are standing in attention "Isn't this the best bound bible you have ever laid your eyes and hands on"? The troops will say instead of Amen "So Say we all" Nuff said!.
