A review of The Filling Station by Shell written on Saturday 27th of February 2010
We (3people), attended the "restaurant" at about 5pm on a Friday evening, it was not busy...having waited for 5 mins to be seated, we were asked if we wanted garlic bread straight away, then the waitress disappeared, having waited nearly ten mins I had to leave my table and ask a member of staff who was more interested in chatting to her friend if we could order. We all ordered the same thing and drinks. We waited a further 10 mins for the drinks to arrive and another 15 mins or so for the food!. The staff member had a continued attitude. The steak sandwich came out with a small chewy rank piece of meat and a few chips. It was over priced for what it was!!! again we waited a further 10 mins after our table was cleared, to pay the bill, again having to prompt the staff member to get attention. the bill came to £36 for 3 sandwiches and 3 soft drinks!!...never again!!!!
