The staff numbers have certainly depleted over the recent past. All staff have been notified with redudancy and the clock is ticking away until the 30th of June 2010. Even the most optimistic being, would have difficulty on accepting a continuation of service. Most of the social work staff either have been in reciept of a package or an offer of continuation of employment (smooth transition).

In relative terms, the education staff who have vacated their positions prior to closure have also benefitted financialy with a sound package. In addition, the management and the rest of the education staff are to be handsomely provided at this

'end of provision'. What about the young people?

Will this service continue under another name and provide for the future. Education and Care..
