Mr. Laing, as you can see below, there are many people still waiting for goods - in one case more than a year. In my opinion Gordon Brown and Cromwell models are not reputable dealers. For some reason they are getting a "free pass" on many modelling forums...who knows why? I can understand Cromwell being a slow trader but it goes well beyond that. When it seems for him to put his money where his mouth is he stops communicating with you. What's even more galling, he is a regular and frequent poster on many model forums, especially armorama. He is obviously using the internet so why is he not answering emails? It's pretty obvious. Missing Lynx, Armorama and other sites have (understandably) banned the common practice of modeller's posting a "bat signal" call out to Gordon Brown in their forums for all the drama it attracts. In reviews of Cromwell products, however,there is a warning not to criticize Cromwell's business practices..hmmm....all I can say is "Buyer Beware"...there's a good chance you will never see the goods. I suggest to all here to visit the bad traders thread at Armorama and add cromwell to the list. They will probably delete it but it may do some good. There are also Cromwell email contact details in the product review there. Try emailing with a "read" receipt to see if he reads it - one of his most common excuses is "I didn't get your email". keep all emails and documentation....should legal action be required. Also check to see if the local Better Business Bureau can log your complaint. They can be very helpful..
