A review of St Bartholomew's R C Primary School by Cass written on Tuesday 11th of May 2010
The best days of your life, or was it???
Getting the strap for things kids do, like, not writing large enough, talking in the line, not answering quick enough, day dreaming. Ah the "Jannie".
I remember once two girls told the "Jannie" that I had said somthing derogitary about him, which they made out worse by tenfold what really happened. He took me into the room that the Lollipop man would use to store his white coat and sign and told me he was not impressed with my comments, (Not the actual words he used).
Miss Gaffney was getting on in years, she would put on her lipstik, which covered her teeth (Bless her) and ask, "Do I look nice class" and the cry would go up, "Yes Miss Gaffney".
In my class there was two Michael Cassidy's, one with Red hair, he was called Michael Joseph Cassidy and one with dark brown hair, he was called Michael James Francis Cassidy, (That was me).
Mr McGill, firm but fair. He had endless energy and done his best to motivate us, (I wish I had taken advantage of the help he was giving us).
Before I go on I will try and answer the question I asked.
I left school and done an apprenticeship in Glazing. After finishing my time I joined the Army (10 year and 48 days later I left). As you can tell by my English and Grammer I am far from accademic, but I have never been in trouble and managed to keep my self in employment, so I turned out well.
Not the best days of my life, but up there with them..
