A review of C Troop Caledonian Army Cadets by Alan Laurie written on Saturday 24th of July 2010
I joined C Caley in 1970 I went through the ranks to sgt/mjr before becoming a SI,and AUO I left about 1978 as became motorcycle fanatic. I learnt a lot in the cadets it was great. My CO was Captain Dean Simpson,a fantasticly dedicated man who was like a father to me. Others I remember Sgt Hill,sgt Joe Clark, LT Cotter, Major Read, sgt McGillvery, mr Lamb, And I met many pals. We did the Norman Manson awards ans won the Lucas tooth A few times. .
