Oh ! yes, 1942 I remember her well.She took the brand spanking new kids...Toilet/cloakroom was at the rear of the class..My most vivid memory was, going to the toilet, and pulling the door to exit, when the door would not open.I was trapped in the toilet.I pulled with all my might ,but the door would not open..I was screaming my head off..Miss Boyd, and a pile of the other kids came rushing in to help. After calming me down, she told me to stop pulling on the door, which I did.....the door opened ""outwards""" I still remember it well and shudder...
