A review of St Mungos Academy by Ciaran H written on Tuesday 3rd of August 2010
St Mungo's Academy is not, although the press may beg to differ, a bad school as it is portrayed. Currently being a pupil, at no time, NO TIME, ever felt threatened or unsafe walking the school. The current headmaster, John Reilly, has made an immediate and lasting effect by his hands on approach, and has made a tireless effort to make vital contact with his pupils, unlike his predecessors, and he recently has earned the school the title of "Very Good" by HMIe, and compared to around six-seven years ago where there was a serious stabbing that took place and gang culture was rife, when Mr. Reilly came to my school he took the bull by the horns and really made the school one of the best in Scotland..
