I was in ward 49 recently for a major operation. Every single person I came into contact with was professional, friendly, caring and extremely dedicated.

My first impression was how clean the ward was and how the nursing staff made me feel I was important as an individual not just another patient. Nothing was taken for granted and they went to great lengths to make my stay comfortable and pain free.

The theatre staff and my consultant were amazing, my operation was explained fully to me in great detail before and after the procedure to make sure all of my questions were answered.

The non nursing staff were equally helpful, even the lovely lady who brought us tea made sure mine was exactly how I liked it.

i could almost say I enjoyed my stay at SGH apart from the op that is..
